Every leaf tells a story—our children brought those stories to life through art. Delhi Public School Asansol conducted two creative nature-based activities for students of Classes I to VI, aimed at enhancing artistic expression and environmental awareness. For Classes I to III, a Leaf Printing Activity was organized wherein students experimented with watercolours and leaves of various shapes and sizes. They explored textures by creating vibrant imprints in their drawing books, blending creativity with elements from nature. In Classes IV to VI, a Leaf Art Activity was conducted. Students used dry leaves to form imaginative compositions, which they carefully arranged and pasted to create distinctive art pieces. The activity inspired artistic expression, enhanced visual composition skills and encouraged students to observe nature more closely.
